The Application Process for Algonquin College – South Asian Applications

  1. Country/Board specific admissions requirements can be found by selecting the relevant country on our Admissions by Country page.
  2. All documents submitted with an Application need to be coloured scanned copies of originals (Notarised documents are not required until further notice).
  3. All partners are requested to advise their staff to request any updates/Deferral/Refunds on a student application through the Algonquin College Agent portal only.
  4. If any clarification or additional documents asked for by the Algonquin College admissions team are not supplied within a stipulated period of 14 days, from the date of notification, then the Application will be cancelled and cannot be reinstated. A new Application will have to be submitted with Application fees paid again.
  5. If an Alternate Intake choice is not confirmed to Algonquin College within 14 days from the date of notification of a program getting waitlisted, then the Application will be cancelled and cannot be reinstated. A new Application will have to be submitted with Application fees paid again.
  6. All staff working for our partners are requested to put their name at the end of their messages when communicating with Algonquin College on the portal to help with communication and avoid any gaps.
  7. Note that applications are subject to pre-screening based on regional-specific conditions, in accordance with IRCC guidelines and may not meet all eligibility criteria based on Study Gap after high school, university, or between any two qualifications after high school.
