Linden Polos, Graphic Design Graduate, Class of 2010 worked at Creative Source, Inc. in Manhattan (NYC), USA.

My co-op brought me to New York City, more specifically Manhattan. My time there was amazing. I worked in a small studio in the flat iron district. It was a life long dream of mine to live and work in New York and I cannot believe that I actually did it.

The first time it really struck me that I was working in Manhattan was the first work day I had when it was clear outside, and I realized I could see the Chrysler building (my favorite building in Manhattan) from my office window. Wow. Every sunny day we had I would go to the park at the end of the street, which is next to the Flatiron building, and have lunch.

My job was great and they wasted no time throwing me right into things. While there I won campaigns over more senior designers for logos, layouts, and other such designs.

My living situation was a bit crazy as I moved a few times but it’s all part of the experience. I could not have be happier.
