Lesson 4 – Design Options for Strategy Development

In post-secondary classes, students are learning to act with intention and skill. That is, to strategize to reach their learning goals (CAST, 2024). As educators, we can design opportunities for our students to develop executive functioning skills to plan, organize, sustain attention, and self-regulate to work toward their goals. It is important to do this in a way that is accessible for all learners and to challenge systems that are not inclusive.
