CAFCYBERCOM to deliver new Cyber Operator training program with Algonquin College

The Canadian Armed Forces Cyber Command (CAFCYBERCOM) will deliver a new foundational training program for CAF Cyber Operator candidates through its Cyber Training Unit (CTU), in partnership with Algonquin College.

Managed and delivered by CTU under CAFCYBERCOM, the program provides structured learning pathways guiding recruits from foundational skills to operational capability. Training ensures CAF personnel are prepared to defend military networks, support multi-domain operations, and contribute to national and global security. “Strengthening our cyber capabilities is a strategic priority for CAFCYBERCOM,” said Lieutenant-Colonel James Carter, CTU’s Commanding Officer. “This program will equip recruits with the knowledge and skills needed to respond to evolving cyber threats and support CAF operations both domestically and internationally.” Continue reading →
