Financial Aid & Awards
The Financial Aid and Awards office can help you understand how to pay for your education through student loans, scholarships, bursaries, and other funding opportunities. Special consideration may be available for military members, Veterans, and their families studying at Algonquin College.
Career Development Services and Co-op
Algonquin’s Career Development Services help students explore career options, prepare for the job market, and plan their professional path. Services include career advising, resume and interview support, and job search strategies.
Many programs also offer co-operative education and work-integrated learning opportunities through the Co-op and Career Centre, helping students gain valuable workplace experience while completing their studies.

Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) is a process that helps adult learners to identify, articulate and demonstrate relevant learning acquired through life and work experiences, and translate this learning into college credit.
