The Canadian Fiddle and Stepdance Championship is a premier Labour Day weekend event held in Pembroke, Ontario. The competition takes place at Festival Hall at L’Équinoxe, with weekend camping and informal jams hosted at the nearby Fiddle Park. Learn more here.

All students who enjoy golfing are invited to participate in the annual Algonquin College Alumni and Friends golf tournament on Saturday, August 29 at the Island Brae Golf Club.  This is a great opportunity for new and returning students to make a connection with alumni who are working in their field. The cost to participate is $75 per player and includes 9 holes of golf, dinner and prizes for all participants.
