Welcome back! We recommend that you start your visit by jumping into our General Info Session, then participate in some helpful drop-in Student Support Services sessions, followed by taking part in your program orientation session.

Session Overview

During this 30-minute session, our team will provide you with a complete overview of what to expect at our interactive AC Start Orientation – the different sessions available for you to choose from, meet Jamie Bramburger. Manager of Community & Student Affairs at the Pembroke Campus, and learn how to access the Zoom sessions easily.

There will be lots of time to answer all of your questions, so don’t be shy. Our Algonquin College experts are ready to provide you with all the information you need to prepare for an amazing college experience!

Meet some AC support staff team members, get the low down on some #DidYouKnow campus factoids, and join in on challenging your fellow classmates and play Never Have I Ever AC Bingo (download your Bingo Card here) and Pop Culture trivia for a chance to win some prizes!

What Every Parent Needs to Know About College

Session Overview

Parents, guardians, spouses, aunts, uncles, grandparents all play an important role in helping their loved ones choose a college that is right for them. This session will assist parents and families with learning more about college policies, financial aid for students, campus safety, and the overall experience a student can expect to have when they enroll at the campus.
