2 Positions Available:
1. Part Time Days, evenings – Approximately 60hrs in a 4 week rotation
2. Awake Nights – Approximately 90hrs in a 4 week rotation
Salary:
$25.25-$26.50 per hour plus paid benefits

Qualifications:
Developmental Services Worker, Child and Youth Worker, Behavior Science, or equivalent
First aid/CPR, CPI
G License/ Driver’s Abstract

Job Summary:
The Direct Support Professional (DSP) will provide support to individuals during day, evening or over night shifts in their home, in a person-centered fashion following the Mission, Values and Guiding Principles of Community Living-North Frontenac.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to assisting with the activities of daily living, cooking, maintaining a clean and safe home environment, medication administration, daily documentation, collaborating with agency teams and outside resources as well as communicating with families and assisting individuals to participate in their communities.
Successful Candidates must be team players, have sound critical thinking and crisis management skills, be willing to adapt to support the needs of the individual and be a positive role model. The DSP’s will be expected to attend mandatory training sessions and team meetings as well as partake in educational opportunities as presented. Knowledge of basic computer programs and word processing is necessary for daily documentation.
