Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Driving Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for educating new drivers on safe driving practices, traffic laws, and vehicle operation.
This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment for students of all ages. As a Driving Instructor, you will play a crucial role in shaping responsible drivers and enhancing road safety.

Responsibilities

• Conduct driving lessons in a behind-the-wheel setting.
• Educate students on traffic laws, and safe driving techniques.
• Develop lesson plans that cater to the individual needs of students.
• Assess and communicate with students regarding their progress; provide constructive feedback to help them improve their driving skills.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.
• Ensure the safety of students during lessons by adhering to all traffic regulations and safety protocols.

Skills

• Strong time management and scheduling abilities.
• Excellent communication skills to clearly convey information and instructions.
• Patience and adaptability to work with diverse learners at different skill levels.
• A passion for educating others and promoting safe driving practices.

Training

Driving Instructor Course training can be provided at no cost for the right candidate if required.

Required
• G Class License (4 years of valid G License)
• No demerit points on license history
• Clean Criminal Record and Judicial Matters (CRJM)

Additional Job Details:

Please note a company car will be provided for this position. Insurance, fuel and vehicle maintenance will be covered by the employer.

Compensation

$25.00/hour

We also offer the position of contracted “Broker” at the payscale of $35/hour+HST.
Please note “Broker” position requires the use of your own vehicle. All related expenses including insurance, fuel, maintenance are not covered by employer.
