Job Description
Rainbow Valley offers supported living for children and adults in residential homes. Our programs are made up of children and adults, with behavioural challenges, dual diagnosis and who are developmentally delayed.

In our homes we focus on life skills and social inclusion. We believe every person has a right to respect, privacy, education, and acceptance of individuality. Further, we believe in the value and dignity of each person.
• Working with management to plan, organize and facilitate daily activities and programming.
• Supporting children/youth/adults with daily needs within the home as well as outside of the home as needed.
• Accompanying children/youth on activities and outings.
• Implementing behaviour programs and management as instructed by Supervisor(s), Behaviourists, Occupational Therapists, etc.
• Tasks and duties as directed from Supervisor(s).
• Administering medication.
• Completing assigned paperwork daily and as needed.
• Crisis Prevention Intervention.
REQUIREMENTS
• Currently enrolled in or completes a post-secondary program in a related field (Child and Youth Worker, Developmental Service Worker, Police Foundations, Personal Support Worker, Behaviour Science, Social Services, etc.)
• Related experience will also be considered.
JOB TERMS: Days, Overnight, Evenings, Weekends, Shift
