“The Technical Writer course at Algonquin gave me a broad base of the core skills and rhetorical foundation for writing about just about anything. The exposure to technologies through the course work and the students working through other programs has allowed me to have a toehold into pretty much everything I’ve been asked to do since. There was room to learn how to deal with others professionally and personally. All of this has made my 20 years in the industry both productive and enjoyable. I still love what I do. What other industry would provide the opportunity to work on sales force management software one year and ultrasound equipment in another?”
