In this session, AC Always Connected: Finding Motivation in Uncertain Times, Komal Minhas will provide strategies to proactively move through uncertainty and share how to create an action plan for the next steps to feel in control and motivated for what lies ahead.

About Komal Minhas
Komal Minhas is a curator of powerful experiences and conversations. She is a host, interviewer, investor, and champion of women around the world. In 2016, Komal produced the documentary film, Dream, Girl, about female entrepreneurs that landed her on Oprah Winfrey’s Super Soul 100 list. The film premiered at the Obama White House where Komal shared her story as part of a White House Council on Women and Girls initiative.
Komal is a cancer survivor and a chronic illness advocate. She leverages her varied and difficult life and business experiences to deeply connect with her guests and global audience. She’s carved out a niche for soulful conversations through investigating stories of resilience and the ways we rise from the unimaginable on her talk show, Lessons Learned. Komal was formerly the host of the THRIVE Podcast for women entrepreneurs in partnership with Startup Canada, Scotiabank and BDC.
Komal recently interviewed Michelle Obama in front of an audience of 8,000 for Mrs. Obama’s Canadian stadium tour. She’s also interviewed Canada’s First Lady Sophie Gregoire Trudeau, NYTs bestselling author Rupi Kaur as well as prominent businesswomen and politicians across North America. As an investor, Komal focuses on women-led businesses including Live Tinted, The Helm Co, iFundWomen, The Founders Fund, and more. Philanthropically, Komal focuses on increasing access to education and to hygienic menstrual products and facilities for girls in rural Punjab, India.
Komal’s work has been featured on NBC, Forbes, and The Huffington Post among others and she has spoken at the White House, the Cannes International Film Festival, Harvard University, and more.
