Community Project: Cleaning the Capital

The Glad Cleaning the Capital is a citywide cleanup campaign that occurs in the spring and fall of every year. Residents come together as a community and combine efforts to make our city clean and green.
Join the Community Projects team in cleaning up OC Transpo’s Baseline Station, Park and Ride, and the surrounding green spaces. Let’s help keep our city looking great!
This activity is wheelchair accessible. All cleaning supplies and gloves will be provided.
Students are asked to sign in at the AC Hub front desk when they arrive. Space is limited.

Bring a $20 cash deposit* (reimbursed at the event) and your Student ID to the AC Hub desk (2nd Floor, Student Commons) or the AC Hub Satellite desk (ACCE Building) to sign up. Open to current students only.
- *Deposit: This event is free; however, a $20 deposit is required to ensure attendance. You will get your deposit back when you present your ticket at the event.
- Tickets: Tickets are limited (first-come, first-served). One per student.
- Cancellations: You must cancel your ticket in person at the AC Hub desk 48 hours before the event to receive a refund.
- Latecomers: You must be able to attend the full event to collect your deposit. If you are more than 15 minutes late, your spot will be given to the next student.
The rain date for this event is Oct. 11, 10:00am-11:30am (registered volunteers will be contacted by email if the event is rescheduled due to weather).
