Community Project: Gloucester Emergency Food Cupboard
Mar 19, 2019 |09:00-13:30
The mission of the Gloucester Emergency Food Cupboard is to collect, purchase, and distribute food for persons in need in North Gloucester and West Orleans. The GEFC meets the needs of the hungry in our community through the help of volunteers who generously donate their time by dividing and sorting food, stocking shelves, distributing food, participating in outreach and fundraising activities, and more.
At this Community Project, volunteers will be cleaning, sorting donations, and stocking shelves. Participants are asked to wear closed-toe shoes to this activity.
Space is limited as there is a 10-person maximum. Please note this activity is not wheelchair accessible.
Transportation is provided. Participants are asked to meet at the AC Hub (2nd floor, Student Commons) for 9:00am. We will return to campus at 1:30pm.
