Community Project: The Oaks, Shepherds of Good Hope (Sold Out!)
Jan 28, 2020 |2:30PM-6:30PM
The Oaks Residence represents a unique partnership between Shepherds of Good Hope, Inner City Health, and the Canadian Mental Health Association. It is a 55-unit facility, located across two buildings in the west end of Ottawa. It houses the Managed Alcohol Program and an aging-at-home program, and provides a limited number of residential units to the Canadian Mental Health Association. This facility offers its residents treatment, support, a home — and a very real sense of community.
At this Community Project, participants will be cooking and serving a taco dinner to the residents of The Oaks.
Please note this activity is wheelchair accessible.
Registration is mandatory for this event. Space is limited as there is a 6-person maximum.
Please note this Community Project is sold out. Check out our Events Calendar for more upcoming events!
