Creative Collisions Presents: Self-Care and Spoons

Feb 14, 2024 |2pm-4pm

You’ve heard of time management, but what about energy management? And what do spoons have to do with energy management, anyway?

This Valentine’s Day, show yourself some love and join the Centre for Accessible Learning in a guided discussion to learn about Spoon Theory and how it can be used to manage and protect your precious energy. We will provide paper and wooden spoons that can be decorated using any of the painting, drawing, collaging, and craft materials that we have on hand! We will also demonstrate some ideas on how to turn your decorated spoons into a functional daily tracker with the help of the tools that are available in the MakerSpace.

We strive to be accessible – please let us know what you need to be able to attend.

Advanced registration is helpful to guarantee supplies and a spot, but not necessary – you can still drop in!
