Developmental Services Ontario Information Session

Join the Transition Support Centre on Thursday, August 22 from 1 pm to 3 pm for a virtual information session on the services provided by Developmental Services Ontario (DSO).
DSO is your access point for adult developmental services. When you turn 18, you can no longer access individual funding services such as Special Services at Home, Assistance for Children with Severe Disabilities, and services through the Ontario Autism Program. To access supports in your community as an adult, you must apply through DSO to see if you are eligible for government-funded services. Your area’s DSO office will help you:
- Understand and complete the application process
- Determine the kind of services and supports you need
- Learn about the Passport program
- Get access to MCCSS-funded services and supports that you need when a spot is available
- Find information in your community
Tune into this virtual session to learn about how the Eastern Ontario DSO can support you! Current Algonquin College students are welcome. No registration is required.
