Bell Let’s Talk Day as part of Mental Health Awareness Week

Jan 30, 2019

Mental Health Awareness Week (MHAW), from January 29 to February 1, is an annual Algonquin College education campaign designed to help open the eyes of students and employees to the benefits of staying mentally healthy. On Wednesday, January 30, Algonquin will be supporting Bell Let’s Talk Day with a variety of activities presented by Student Support Services and the Algonquin Students’ Association. This annual campaign is driving the national conversation to help reduce stigma and promote awareness and understanding. On Bell Let’s Talk Day, Bell will donate more towards mental health initiatives in Canada, by contributing 5¢ for every applicable text, call, tweet, social media video view, and use of their Facebook frame or Snapchat filter.
