Sketching and Self-Care: Mindful Drawing Workshop

Take your mind off of school and work (or whatever else is stressing you out!) and focus on drawing exercises to engage your creativity and relax your mind.

Join us on January 25, from 3:00pm-4:00pm, for this mindfulness-based drawing class with artist and creator, Brenda Dunn.

About Brenda Dunn: Brenda has been getting in trouble for crayoning on the walls for as long as she can remember. She eventually went to art school where they let her draw on whatever she wanted to. She works and plays in Ottawa, where she came for grad school and has stuck around ever since. She learned a lot of words during her Master’s in English literature, but it turns out she actually prefers visual communication over verbal. Brenda now owns her own art business called Art in Jest and shares many of her creations on her Art in Jest social media pages.

This event is open to current Algonquin College students and employees only. Advance registration is required due to a limited number of spots.
