In the wake of the recent severe storms and power outages that occurred across Ottawa, Algonquin College recognizes that many in our College community are coping with difficult situations. For students seeking additional resources, below is a list of contacts for everything from housing and food to crisis support services.

• City of Ottawa Emergency Shelter Services – For students who do not have a place to stay in the immediate future, please visit the Department of Housing and Social Services office at 100 Constellation Drive, 2nd floor (across the street from Baseline Station) between 8am and 4:30pm, or call 3-1-1 to be directed to a shelter that has space.
