Sustainability in the curriculum shines through in a number of the projects being highlighted at this day’s event.
“The end of the grassroots Ottawa Sustainability Week is marked by Applied Research Day where sustainability in the curriculum will shine through in a number of the projects being highlighted at this day’s showcase.
Sustainability is rapidly being integrated into course and program curriculum at Algonquin College. The project showcase of Applied Research Day is a great opportunity to see firsthand how core sustainability concepts have been infused seamlessly with many of these projects. Not surprisingly, all of the energy projects demonstrate sustainability and overall, more than 40% of the 78 projects being showcased have elements of sustainability as integral aspects.”
