5 Days of Kindness

Kindness PosterWe should all be kind 365 days a year but for the first few days in December, Algonquin College would like to especially pay it forward. This period is the time when students are studying long and hard hours for their final exam. What could boost their mood and fuel their body with energy more than a RAK – aka Random Act of Kindness! Everything from telling them good luck, to buying them a “double double” can reassure them that they are taking the right path in life! We are dedicating five special days to this amazing campaign. On the days of December 5th through to the 9th, your kindness should shine more than usual.

Themes for the 5 days

  • Dec 5 – Kind Words – pay someone a compliment, wish students good luck
  • Dec 6 – Kind Deeds – hold a door open, scrape the ice off someone’s car
  • Dec 7 – Kind Offering – drop a $5 coffee card in a random locker, tape change to a vending machine
  • Dec 8 – Be Kind to Yourself – go for a walk, ask a friend for tea, try out calm.com
  • Dec 9 – Be Kind to the Planet – take the bus, bring a water bottle
