The positive effects of yoga are abundant. Health benefits of yoga include increased strength, balance, focus, awareness and energy amongst many others. Come out and experience the subtle changes you will create within yourself to feel better. Power yoga involves a varied series yoga postures which are executed in a continuous flow, incorporating breath from one pose to another. It can be considered a more vigorous practice.
JUDY MANHERZ, Certified Yoga Instructor
Judy is a certified yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance. She has been practicing yoga for nearly 10 years and has been active in fitness throughout her life. She taught aerobics for 15 years and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo. She is enthusiastic and passionate about her students and their practice. It is her goal to motivate others within her classes to reach their personal edge and find their strength and calm within. She continues to attend courses, workshops and lectures, while eagerly learning from those she teaches. She is currently a professor and Coordinator in the Police Foundations Program.
