Fitness & Exercise
College Walk Program
In continuing with our philosophy of ongoing employee wellness, COL would like to take this opportunity to officially launch a College Walk program. If you are not already following an exercise program, we would like to encourage you to take up walking, for all of the documented health benefits walking can bring.
Want to Participate in Algonquin’s Walk Challenge?
If you would like to participate in our Walk Challenge, you can record your walking steps in your Algonquin Employee Walking Log. When you reach 100 km, please let us know and we will include you in the “Walk Hall of Fame”.
You may also log in kilometres that you have walked for the day outside of College hours. Some of you have already established your own walking routes and wish to keep them.
For more information, contact us.
