Withdraw from your program

To withdraw from your program, complete the withdrawal form below.

Note: To access the form you will be prompted to sign in with your Algonquin College email.

Courses in Full-time Programs

Students in full-time programs, including students studying part-time in a full-time program.

Courses in Part-time Programs

Students in part-time programs, contact the Registrar's Office to initiate the process.

Fill out the form to complete your request to transfer programs.

Transfer from Level 2+ to Level 1 of another program

To transfer to another program starting at level 1, complete the withdrawal form below, and then apply on ontariocolleges.ca. It is important to apply for your new program as soon as possible, as programs will become unavailable for applications shortly after the start date.

Transfer programs this semester when you don't know what program you want to take - Winter 2026

Level 1 International students at the Ottawa or Perth campus

If no appointments are available, email international@algonquincollege.com and our team will set up an appointment. Include the following information:

• Subject: "Program Transfer"
• In the body of the email: Your full name and Student ID number

The appointment will take place remotely (on Zoom).

Unable to find a withdrawal appointment? Contact us using these steps:

1. Open AC360 and log in using your AC email and password if prompted.
2. Select the topic Immigration and category Scheduled and Unscheduled Breaks.
3. In the notes section, enter "Withdrawal request. Unable to book an appointment" and click Submit."

We will honour any withdrawal requests made via Help Ticket on or before January 23.

(Level 2 or Above International Student at the Ottawa or Perth Campus)

For immigration-related questions, including Post-Graduation Work Permit eligibility, please submit a help ticket. Contact us using these steps:

1. Open AC360 and log in using your AC email and password if prompted.
2. Select the topic Immigration and category Post-Graduation Work Permit.

Unable to find a withdrawal appointment? Contact us using these steps:

1. Open AC360 and log in using your AC email and password if prompted.

In the meeting, they'll answer your questions and provide you with options (e.g. drop a course, transfer programs, withdraw etc.)

Your meeting is a chance to ask any specific questions you have. The purpose of this meeting is to provide you with the information you need to make an informed decision that is right for you.

ATTENTION: The option you selected is only for students who have been notified that they are being withdrawn by the college (due to academic performances, etc.). If this applies to you, please click Continue.
