How it works

1. Sign up

Complete the form on our website to let us know you’re interested in participating and when you’d like to start (Sept 11, 2023 or Jan 2, 2024). Eligible participants must have strong communications skills both verbal and written, live in the Ottawa area (Ontario only), are 19 years of age or older and have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN).

2. Meet with Altis Recruitment

Altis Recruitment is the preferred staffing partner for the Skills for Success program. After you sign up, an Altis Recruitment representative will connect with you to schedule a 10-15 minute virtual meeting. The purpose of this call is to confirm that you meet the program eligibility. The meeting will be formal and light, there will be no need to prepare in advance.

3 . Take a skills assessment test

After the meeting, eligible applicants will be emailed an online skills assessment test to complete. Each applicant will need to complete and pass the skills assessment to continue with the program. The test will also help us to adapt the training to your needs.

4 . Confirm your spot

Spaces are limited so sign up and confirm your spot as soon as possible.
