Volunteer Position Title: Choir Volunteer
Volunteer Time Frame: until Mar 31, 2022

Mission: Founded in Ottawa nearly fifty years ago, the Letson Hall Chorus is a group of about eight (8) very enthusiastic singers and musicians who are visually impaired. Some members also have learning disabilities. We meet every Tues evening from 7:00-8:30pm to rehearse (Sept-Nov), and then perform at seniors residences on Tues evenings (Jan-May).
Volunteer Position Description: This year, we hope to attract additional volunteers to help the blind choir members move on/off the Para Transpo buses, to assist them with winter coats/boots, to walk with them from the outside door to the hall where they will be performing, and to help serve after-show coffee and cookies. Volunteers are also always welcome to join us for the singing. We have a potluck get-together at Christmas and in June.

Volunteer Position Requirements:
- Minimum 19 years of age
- Interacting with the public / in a group setting
