Volunteer Position Title: Movers / Move Coordinators
Volunteer Time Frame: posted until April 22, 2022

Mission: To provide moving and storage services at no cost to women and children experiencing abuse. In collaboration with community partners, we support families transitioning to a life free of violence.

Volunteer Position Description: Movers will be responsible for packing and moving items weighing up to 20 lbs. The ability to use sound judgement and assess risks at every move is essential. Movers must be 18+ and drivers must be 21+. Move Coordinators will be responsible for answering requests from referring agencies, contacting available movers, and coordinating movers, police, and the client.

Volunteer Position Requirements:

  • Police Record Check
  • Driver’s Licence
  • Heavy Lifting
  • Training Required
