Mission: Ecology Ottawa is a non-partisan, non-profit environmental organization. We work to make Ottawa the green capital of Canada, and we’re running an Elections Campaign in an important swing riding this summer.

Volunteer Position Description:

The ideal volunteer is an enthusiastic individual who is comfortable interacting with the public. The volunteer would canvass in an important swing riding to encourage residents to vote with climate in mind. Ideally, they are able to canvass at minimum 1 shift a week. Including travel time, this would be 3-4 hours a week.

Volunteer Position Requirements:

• Standing for long periods of time
• Outdoor Activities
• Interacting with the public / in a group setting
