Mission:

The Rideau-Rockcliffe Community Resource Centre was created in 1982. It is a City-funded non-profit organization and a member of the Coalition of Community Health and Resource Centres of Ottawa. We provide a range of social supports and services such as emergency food bank, tax clinic, business incubator, consultation, youth and family programs that enable the empowerment of residents, community resilience, and the inclusion of all. We are located at 235 Donald Street but will move to the former Rideau High School on the Saint Laurent Boulevard in December 2019.

Volunteer Position Description:

We will move to our new space at the former Rideau High School in December 2019 and looking for volunteer student/students from the Interior Design Program that can help us with the design and selection of the colors for the renovation, retrofit, and furniture. We are planning to lunch the renovation in 3 weeks and finish it in November 2019. The volunteer supposed to be having or had the interior design program courses and have the ability of creative, and critical thinking to solve problems.
