Mission:

Meals on Wheels Ottawa is a bilingual not-for-profit community support service that delivers nutritious hot and frozen meals to seniors and adults with disabilities to assist them in maintaining their health and independence at home.

Volunteer Position Description:

Meals on Wheels Ottawa is looking for office volunteers! Join our small and mighty team in our Ottawa office and support the work we do that provides nutritious food to seniors and adults with disabilities to assist them in maintaining their health and independence at home.

Office volunteers will help with:
• answering phone calls
• data entry
• organizing files
• other administrative tasks as needed

Volunteers will work with a friendly and dynamic staff team and learn what it’s like working in a busy non-profit. If you are organized, have great customer service and a willingness to learn – get in touch with us! The volunteer commitment is flexible and can be as often as once a week or as little as once a month.

Volunteer Position Requirements:

  • Police Record Check
  • Bilingual (French)
  • Training Required
