SSS Employees: Event and Creative Brief
The AC Hub team provides event and marketing support for all of Student Support Services. If you are an employee and would like to request support from the AC Hub team, please fill out the form below. Before you submit, please review the following:
Due Dates:
Please allow at least 4-6 weeks for creative material production. Additional production time may be required for certain promotional items and material printing, so please allow as much time as possible in order to meet your deadline.
Due to the volume of briefs submitted in preparation for the start of each term, the AC Hub team will require more than 4-6 weeks to complete requests. Deadlines are as follows to have things ready for the first day of each term:
• Fall 2026: July 10
• Winter 2027: November 6
• Spring 2027: March 19
*Â Please note:Â These deadlines are for projects you would like completed by AC Day 1. For example, if your project due date is in October, you do not need to submit by July 10. The normal 4-6 week window would apply in that case.
During these weeks, no new briefs can be submitted to the AC Hub team. However, urgent requests can be made and will be evaluated on a case-to-case basis.
• Fall 2026: August 31-Septemer 4
• Winter 2027: January 4-8
• Spring 2027: May 3-7
Event Support:
If you are seeking event support, please submit your request as early as possible. Our Events team will require time to review the request and determine if they have the capacity to complete it.
Additional Things to Keep in Mind:
- To help us get started as quickly as possible, please include as much detail as you can when submitting your brief. Please refrain from submitting with us until all of the details are confirmed.
- If you’re requesting graphic design work (such as posters and social media graphics) and have a specific vision in mind, we’d love to see it. Due to the high volume of projects we manage and our team’s capacity, we have limited time for multiple rounds of design updates. If you have inspiration images, reference photos, preferred colours, fonts, branding examples, or other visual ideas, please include them with your brief. The more direction you can provide upfront, the more efficiently we can create a design that meets your expectations.
- If you’re including copy in your brief, please ensure it is the final approved version before submitting. We can accommodate minor edits; however, significant content changes after work has begun may result in project delays or require revisions to the timeline.
