In preparation for the Team-taught Dual Credit course that is to be situated at your high school in second semester, we would like to invite your team to a forum at Algonquin College.
What am I invited to: Team-taught Forum
Where will it be held: Algonquin College Ottawa campus – room TBA
When will it be held: December 9th 9:30am -2:30pm
Who should attend: The classroom teacher for the high school portion of the TT Dual Credit course and a Guidance Counsellor who will be assisting in student selection
Why is this forum necessary: Lots to discuss including the following,
We will provide refreshments in the morning (coffee, juice, fruit and pastries) and a hot lunch in the afternoon. Please park in the visitor’s lot and we will give you a voucher to exit at no charge. Should you need supply coverage please contact the Dual Credit Lead for your school board and they will provide the necessary information.
Welcome to the Dual Credit program!
At your Orientation you will meet your fellow Dual Credit students, your Dual Credit Support Teacher as well Algonquin College staff members who are here to help you succeed in your course. You will receive your official time table, learn about transportation to and from your course, learn about campus and what it means to be an Algonquin student, and get excited for your first day of classes!
