Environmental challenges rarely fit within a single discipline. Neither should the research tackling them.
Algonquin College is advancing Bio-EARTH (Environmental Applied Research and Technology Hub), an interdisciplinary applied research platform connecting environmental science, biotechnology, sustainable agriculture, GeoAI and data-driven research.
Supported through a recent investment totalling approximately $2.5M from Canada Foundation for Innovation/Fondation canadienne pour l’innovation and the Ontario Research Fund, Bio-EARTH will help bring students, faculty and partners together to address real-world sustainability and resilience challenges.
