Research Assistants:

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Research Assistant is responsible for conducting technical and research activities that include developing an understanding of the current state of the field of research. The Research Assistant works closely with the Project Manager, Principal Investigator and client to execute the tasks and activities detailed in the project plan; providing information as needed for regular reporting; and decommissioning equipment, materials and infrastructure utilized during the project (when applicable).

Duties:

  • Provides required administrative and project documentation and materials to ARI staff
  • Works with ARI staff on the purchase of materials for the project
  • Has clear oral and written communications on a regular basis with Principal Investigator, Project Manager, Industry Partner and team members, providing updates on project status
  • Completes tasks as assigned by the Principal Investigator
  • Is responsible for conducting research for the assigned projects
  • Ensures ARI New Hire Orientation Manual is reviewed and understood
