Driving Sustainable Innovation: Fastenal Canada & Algonquin College Join Forces

The Green Supply Chain and Sustainability Research Lab (GSCS) at Algonquin College has partnered with Fastenal Canada to enhance innovation in sustainable practices across industrial, janitorial, and packaging product lines.

Real-World Research with Real-World Impact

As global regulations around product life cycle assessments (LCAs) and ecolabeling continue to evolve, Fastenal and Algonquin College are staying ahead of the curve. Together, we’re defining key environmental attributes that align with international standards and green supply chain best practices.

This collaboration exemplifies what happens when industry leaders and academic institutions come together:

  • Practical innovation that addresses real-world challenges.
  • Student skill development to prepare the next generation of leaders.
  • Measurable impact on supply chain sustainability practices.
