How is this program structured?
Students can begin their studies in September or January. Students who start in January complete the 2-year diploma in 16 months by studying in four continuous semesters from January to April with no summer break. Students who start in September follow the traditional structure: two semesters, summer break, followed by two semesters.

What will I learn?
The program prepares students to work in various areas of accounting including financial accounting, managerial accounting, taxation and auditing. The curriculum is designed to broaden the business background of students and to expand their theoretical knowledge of economics, business law, finance, and statistics.

Are there any certifications or designations?
Students interested in pursuing a professional, recognized accounting designation are advised to check with the relevant accounting body website, and to continue to check these websites on a regular basis for updates.

Will I need to purchase a computer or specialized software for this program?
This is a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) program. You will be required to have a mobile computing device meeting specifications outlined by your program. Note: Mac computers are not supported in Business – Accounting program as software used in this program will not run effectively (even when running via Parallels on Mac)
