CAL Connect

Are you looking for a chance to meet other students, have some fun, and try something new? Please join us for a variety of social events offered through the Centre for Accessible Learning this semester! Past events have included, yoga, cookie decorating, visits with therapy dogs, Dungeons & Dragons, Ukelele Jams, Henna, Embroidery, and Board Games.

All events will be held in the Assistive Technology Lab (Room E303, 3rd Floor, E Building) unless otherwise indicated.

Sessions are drop-in, but students are encouraged to register for email reminders.

Please note: Most CAL Connect Events run in the Fall and Winter semesters. Please check back in August and September for an update to our event listings.

CAL Connect Sessions – Spring 2025

Visit the CAL Ducklings! • Monday, May 12 – Thursday, May 15

Here’s an event that will really quack you up! To celebrate spring and spark some joy, CAL will be hatching ducklings in May!

You can view the eggs in their incubator in the CAL / Counselling waiting room over the next few weeks or visit between 12pm  – 1pm on April 30, May 1, May 7 or May 8 to participate in egg candling to peek at their development. And mark your calendars . . . the HATCH DATE is Monday, May 12.

Want to hang out with these little cuties? Come watch and interact with them in the AT Lab (E-303) between Monday, May 12 and Thursday, May 15 from 10am to 2pm each day.
