The Centre for Accessible Learning (CAL) is committed to ensuring students have equal access to all educational opportunities. Our goal is to provide the necessary accommodations and support to help students meet their essential course or program requirements. Services are confidential, free, and voluntary.

You have opted for Express Registration. This form:

  • Will take 15-30 minutes to complete
  • Provides you an opportunity to:
    • Review and consent to the CAL’s Privacy Notice
    • Review CAL Services to understand how we can support you
    • Understand and acknowledge your responsibilities in the accommodation process

Note: Content from this webform will be processed by CAL staff but is also accessible to Algonquin College’s Web Services Team and Web Vendor. Your IP address will be collected as part of the validation process. Data will be destroyed on a monthly basis and stored only as part of your record with the CAL beyond that time, as outlined in CAL’s Privacy Notice below.

  • Review all emails sent to me from the CAL and follow outlined instructions
  • Understand the services available to me through the CAL
  • Send my Letter of Accommodation (LOA) each term using the CAL Student Portal
  • Book my tests through the CAL Student Portal and meet the published CAL Test Services' booking deadlines
  • Notify my assigned Accessibility Counsellor if my accommodation needs change
  • Reach out for help when needed
