Sending your student off to school can be a trying experience…and confusing! We have put together some introductory information that may help you to understand how the AC Card (Student ID Card) works for your student – and you.

The AC Card is a multipurpose card. In addition to being the student’s College identification card, it is also used to gain free admission to sporting events; to access labs after hours, identify as a student at the Fitness Zone and Health Services among other places; and to check out resources from the library. The card can also be used as a debit card to purchase meals on a meal plan, to do laundry in Residence, to print on campus and to purchase snacks, books and school supplies and much more! Some vending machines also accept the AC Card as payment.

Click here to add money to your son or daughter’s account. All you need is your son or daughter’s student number and last name.

All incoming students can submit their photo online once they have their timetable. They will receive an email confirmation when it’s ready for pickup! A larger Card Service Centre operates during AC Start and the first week of the term.

If your student is not attending AC Start session, he or she can obtain a card upon arrival on campus in the Card Services office. In the week leading up to the start of term and the following couple of weeks, a larger Card Service Centre operates for added ease in getting a card.
