1. Demonstrated exceptional service / leadership over a significant period of time. This award is for lifetime achievement rather than a single contribution.
2. Displayed a wisdom and depth of service / leadership that has made a significant difference to individuals or groups.
3. Exemplified the core values of Algonquin College (Caring, Learning, Integrity and Respect) through their interaction with students / clients and colleagues.
4. Promoted excellence within the College, within the college system, and within post-secondary education in Ontario.

Recognizes an employee for their leadership as demonstrated through their work over the past academic year on a specific project, activity, or with a team.

1. Demonstrated a collaborative leadership style (for a specific project, activity or with a team as identified above.)
