Safety Protocols

Food Services has adapted its operations to include physical distancing, enhanced sanitization protocols, and modified service & operation in these unprecedented times for the safety of our AC community.

Here are the implemented measures that you will see in our spaces this term:

Locations:

  • Everyone must wear a mask.
  • Identified entrance and exit doors will be utilized.
  • Temporary shields have been installed.
  • Hand sanitizer will be available for customers’ use.
  • Common dining rooms and seating areas will have limited seating following 2 meters distance between table and chair placement or may be closed.
  • Enhanced sanitization and disinfection of high touch surfaces e.g. counters, tables, pin pads etc.
  • Floor decals will help direct traffic and instruct people where to stand while in the queue.

Service and Operation:

  • The number of people within our Food Service locations will be limited.
  • The use of reusable cups is temporarily paused.
  • Self-serve stations are temporarily suspended. Full-serve options will be available.
  • Pre-packaged food options are available for “grab and go”.

Food Services employees:

  • Employees must wear masks while working.
  • Employees have been trained on enhanced safety standards and COVID-19 protocols.
  • Employees have been trained on proper masks, handwashing, hand sanitizing, and glove protocols.
