Can I take the program part-time or online?
The Justice Studies program is a full-time program offered at the Woodroffe campus only. It is not currently available to take online. It is intended to be a full-time program; some exceptions may be made for students interested in part-time studies depending on course availability. Contact the program coordinator for more information.

Can I start in January?
The Justice Studies program is currently only offered for a September start. However, the General Arts and Science department does offer a general winter intake program that begins in January. Students may start in the general winter program in January and then continue in the Justice Studies program in September if completed successfully.

How do I know if I am a good fit for this program?
The Justice Studies program is designed for students with an interest in the justice, legal, and law enforcement fields. This program would be a good fit for you if you are interested in taking courses in subjects such as criminology, the Canadian criminal justice system, and politics. There is also emphasis on the social sciences related to this field with courses in psychology, sociology, addiction, and human relations. Graduates of our program usually pursue further education in a related discipline at the college or university level.

Do I need a computer for the program?
Yes, the Justice Studies program is a mobile learning program. All students entering into the program are expected to have and use a mobile computing device that meets or exceeds the recommended hardware requirements as designated by the program. Students are responsible for the cost of their mobile computing device, but they will be provided with access to a suite of industry leading software and online resources.
