Competition timelines vary; there is no standard time period. Generally, you can expect to hear from the hiring department within approximately 2-3 weeks if you have been selected for an interview. Once the competition is completed, you will be notified of this through email at the address you supplied on your application.
Please note that Human Resources is not always aware of the progress of competitions (especially part-time postings) until the hiring manager submits the final paperwork identifying the preferred candidate.
