Apply for a Second Program

Taking a second program can offer specialization in your field and allow you to build on your existing education and skills to enhance your employability. Are you considering a second program?

• Develop industry-specific relationships through the college and community
• No application fee for your second program
• Graduates of two consecutive 1-year programs are eligible to apply for a 3-year Post Graduate Work Permit (PGWP)

Steps to Apply for a Second Program

• Only use this process if you have completed or will complete a program
• Only 1 application should be submitted, additional applications submitted will be cancelled
• Please follow step #7 carefully – we will not refund application payments

If you have not completed your program but would like to change programs, visit the Transfer to a New Program page and follow the steps.

Step 1: Confirm your program is open

Step 2: Login to AC360 (login with your AC Live username and password)

Step 3: Select International Applications from the top menu

Step 4: Choose Start New Application – Only 1 application should be submitted, additional applications submitted will be cancelled

Step 5: Complete the required information by selecting Academic Program, you are currently in Canada and you have a study permit

Step 6: Submit Application

Step 7: Do not pay for the application, select Voucher for the payment method and use your Student Number as the voucher code. Use of voucher code expires 4 months after completing your first program at Algonquin College. Only 1 application should be submitted, additional applications submitted will be cancelled
