Emergency Broadcast System

The College’s emergency broadcast system is an integrated part of the College’s emergency response processes. This system provides several methods of communication to relay important messages to clients throughout the College’s primary campuses in Ottawa, Perth and Pembroke.

All College telephones can receive an audio message that is played through the speaker as well as display text messages. Additionally emergency broadcast paging speakers are utilized to broadcast messages in common areas of the College.

The system is operated by Safety and Security services and is zoned to provide messages to the appropriate physical spaces.
