Registration TEF Canada and TEFAQ 2024
Since 2002, the Canadian government has recognized the results of the TEF to satisfy language skills for immigration and citizenship requests.
The fee for the e-TEF Canada is $389.00 Canadian that must be paid upon registration. You may opt for individual competencies by selecting them when registering.

The competencies are:
- Compréhension orale : 40 min – 40 questions
- Compréhension écrite : 60 min – 40 questions
- Expression orale : 15 min – 2 sujets à traiter
- Expression écrite : 60 min – 2 sujets à traiter
The TEF scores are valid for a 2 year period. If your results are not satisfactory, you must wait 30 days before retaking the test. The results will be emailed to you within 4 to 8 weeks.
