How many pieces should I put into my portfolio?
The portfolio submission is a sampling of 10 to 15 of your best pieces of art and design. Artwork should demonstrate creativity, neatness and how you have developed your concepts. The portfolio should show your sketches, thinking process or thumbnails and how you arrived at your finished artwork.

What sort of things are you looking for in a portfolio?
A variety of work is preferable. You can include collage, painting, mixed media as well as drawings, sketches and thumbnails. Incorporating your drawings and photography into a layout with type (such as a magazine cover layout, product label, posters, etc) is a great way to further demonstrate your creativity and ability. Do not send originals of any design work.

Do I need to purchase a computer?
This is a mobile learning program which engages students in a collaborative, e-learning environment which will help them become skilled, confident users of the kinds of technology they are expected to use in the workplace. Students are required to supply and use a mobile learning device that meets minimum hardware specifications. Software needed for the program is included in your tuition fee and will be supplied by the College. Information regarding computers can be found on our website.
