The program is best suited to anyone who is looking to take their performing arts skills to the next level and is interested in collaborating with others to create performance art.

What will I learn in the program?
We study live and digital performing arts, production, improvisation, creativity, communications, movement, voice, ensemble, global performance and psychology. We will learn how to audition and prepare for a live performance. We will collaborate with other performers and create unique performance pieces. We will perform in front of a live audience.

What are the requirements to get into the program?
A high school diploma or equivalency as well as some performing arts skill are required. There is no audition required.

How will this certificate help me achieve my future goals in performing arts?
The program examines the different paths performers may take in a global environment. We work with industry in order to make connections for your future goals. Further educational opportunities are also examined.

How long is the program?
The program is one year and runs from September to the end of April.

Do we put on performances in the program?
Yes! This is a practical program and the focus is on live and digital performance. We will be performing in front of live audiences.

What is the cost of books and supplies?
You will supply your performing arts costumes/instruments/supplies along with books will total approximately $600 for both semesters. A studio outfit will be required consisting of black comfortable T-shirt and pants and black comfortable shoes and socks.
