Volunteer for AC Day 1
Upper-year students – we need your help at AC Day 1!
We are getting ready to welcome new students during AC Day 1 on January 12, and we need your help! We are looking for volunteers to support us in a variety of areas – from set-up to greeters to food pop-ups.
Volunteering is a great way to share your Algonquin College expertise and give students a warm welcome!
How to sign up:
Registration is now taking place on Bloomerang. If you do not have a Bloomerang account already, you can sign up today using the following easy steps:
- Click here to create an account. Use the green sign-up button to sign up for the Algonquin College Volunteer Centre Organization (please use your Algonquin College email address)
- Wait for your account to be approved by us (you will be notified by email – this may take 1-2 business days)
- Once you are approved, you will be able to log in and sign up to volunteer for the AC Day 1 opportunity. You will also be able to view other opportunities and sign up for them as well.
Volunteer Training
Optional volunteer training will take place on Thursday, January 8, from 1 pm-2 pm. Once you sign up for a shift(s), you will receive the link to the virtual training.
